The sugar grams let's it out for Atkins. You are much better off getting quality protein from eggs, meat, poultry, fish and cheese. Powdered proteins are what gave high protein diets a bad name.

There was a medical research study on protein and how it affects the kidneys and if it causes osteoporosis, but they used powdered proteins (whey and soy), which showed it could cause osteoporosis and was hard on the kidneys. The medical community jumped all over the study and ignored the fact that the people that got a similar amount of protein from food didn't have a problem.

Real food will always be better for you than that created and made in a lab. Foods, in their natural state, is how nature intended us to eat. We never had an obesity epidemic until we started getting much of our food from a box.
People who say it can't be done, should not interrupt those doing it.

Peanut butter is not allowed on induction and not until rung 3, ongoing weight loss. That rung is the nuts and seeds rung. You have to buy all natural with no sugar, even then.

The other problem with the protein powder--it's low fat. We do high fat.

I would suggest you read the list I gave you in your post about whipped cream. It would help you a lot.

Have you given any thought to checking out the stickeys that tell you exactly what you can and cannot eat on induction? There is one with the entire list.

Then, there is the one that explains how to do OWL and what foods are allowed on each rung.

I'm assuming that you don't have a book?

The protein freeze has only 2 grams of suger and fat, however it has 6 carbs per serving... Not Atkins friendly...

Peanut butter is not allowed during induction...
