  • I feel SO guilty, Someone Please HELP!!!

Ok... So, i'm sitting here at my desk at work and I feel completely guilty. I went out to lunch and grabbed something from the local supermarket. I believe it may be Induction friendly but i'm not sure. Now i'm sitting here feeling completely guilty as though i've up!

I had some kielbasa and sauerkraut (not much, maybe a good spoonful) and one italian sausage with one slice of pepper (sausage and peppers). Along with that (to get in some veggies) I had some asparagus.

Did I just kill all of the hard work i've put in over the last few days!?!?

By the way... Maybe I just feel guilty because it taste so darn good!!!

The processed sausage probably has some sugar and starch as binder, but it doesn't sound like what you had to eat was bad enough to feel guilty about. It probably won't cause anything to happen. The meal sounds heavy on the sodium, so you might retain water for a couple of days.

Just carry on. One meal will not undo the good you have done over the last few days. Feeling guilty, eating more bad stuff, will do a lot of damage.
People who say it can't be done, should not interrupt those doing it.

Thanks Sunny! I completely freaked out thinking that I ruined my induction. I was worried that I would have to start over, thus, giving my mind the right to go and eat this sweet bread with cream cheese and blueberries from my son's fund raiser. Good to know i'm still on track though!

One misstep isn't going to undo several days of eating healthy! Don't let your mind play tricks on you like that. If Atkins were a program where one misstep could undo everything, then it wouldn't really be a good way of eating at all! People slip up and make mistakes and that is ok. We are all human. What ISN'T good is making excuses for yourself and planning cheat days and thinking that is ok.
