So I've come down with a bad case of the flu. Woe is me! I hadn't been sick in over a year and of course I had to catch it. I've been home sick in bed since Sunday.
I find that I only feel comfortable when I'm eating or sipping something and plain water seems to make my throat hurt worse. I've probably had 3 days worth of sodium in all the chicken broth I've been sipping! I will admit I've been sucking on sugar-free cough drops which definitely have illegal ingredients in them, but its worth it to me for the relief I get.
I'm not really worried about stalling. I just want to be able to get better ASAP without going completely off-plan and without triggering any cravings so I can get back to my workouts! I'm wondering what everyone else does when they are feeling really under the weather and preparing food is the last thing on your mind?
