  • question about soy milk

    hi everybody,

westsoy makes an unsweetened vanilla soy milk that has 1 net carb per 8 oz serving (5g carbs- 4g fiber). on what rung does soy milk come into play and would there be any limitation on how much of it one could use? has anyone had any positive/negative experience introducing soy milk? thanks in advance for your help.

    Re: question about soy milk

Soy can be introduced on rung 6. This is the beans/legume rung.
On OWL the limitation of any item is that you cannot exceed 5 carbs of the product per day.
I introduced soy milk on rung 6. Organic, unsweetened, vanilla is one of my favorites. I drink it but also use it in some baking. For me it has been no problem but of course it is all individual things.

thanks, liv. that makes sense. i didn't know that there was a 5 carb limit on anything so that's good to know. tho' it seems hard to read five carbs of anything right now! thanks for the info.
