CarbQuick Crepes..YUMMM!

Earlier this week, I received my Carbquick. I have tried a few things with it so far. My fried chicken was unbelievably good. Biscuits were pretty good. And last but not least! I made some crepes, and they were quite delicious. I used Davinci Butter Rum flavor, in it and on it. ohh sweet heaven. Baby, we ain't missin a thing!

I see from your profile that you are on Rung 3, unfortunately you can't have Carbquick until Rung 9 which is the grains rung, as Carbquick is made from wheat. Because it's at the highest rung, I'd really caution against adding it earlier... it's important to follow the rungs in order.

I'm the bearer of bad news today... I could be wrong (check the ingredients yourself), but I think Carbquik contains wheat.

You can make crepes using "legal" ingredients. If you do a search on the Board you'll find several recipes.

I guess I haven't updated in a while, and have moved beyond that rung, but... You'd both be right.I am not that far along to be eating carbquick. Guess I need to go back and do a little rereading. truth is.. I was wanting to experiment when i got the Carbquick in the mail. I jumped the gun. It is my intention to back down a rung or two.. assess where exactly I am in the ladder..seem to have lost track. Thanks both of you for bring this to my attention.

Your carbquick will wait patiently for you, I'm sure. In the meantime, almond flour is a great saviour when it comes to coating for frying, cake or biscuit making.
