  • Don't Call It Comeback...

For some reason, LL Cool J just popped into my head...

After being off for about 7 months, DH and I decided to go back to Atkins. DH saw that he gained back a lot of what he had lost and I gained about 10lbs. Also, we haven't been feeling very well.

We started last week and things have been really good so far. Unlike before when I couldn't get DH motivated to exercise, he's now going to the track with me and walking laps, while I do my C25K workouts. In fact, he plans to start the program tomorrow.

I'm trying to not think of Atkins as a diet, but really as a lifestyle change. I'm really glad we're back to doing this.

        Welcome back, Caramella!

I'm glad you've come back to Atkins because it really is the only thing that works. And it's great that you got your dh moving and the fact that he's doing Atkins too will make it that much easier for you.

Good luck to both of you!

Welcome back! And yes, its not a diet, its a way of life...on that is sustainable, unlike low-fat, low calorie.

Caramella - where have you been??
Bonus to have you back with your husband.

Great to hear about C25K -
We had some C25K threads in the exercise forum last spring. People just shared their experience there. Maybe someone should start one up again. They were very motivating.

Thanks everyone! So I'm so glad to be back here.

I definitely missed the challenges. They kept me focused. I honestly cannot say why I fell off back in November, but I'm glad to be back.
