  • Wow what a weekend!

This WOE gives me so much energy I just can't stop - seriously. I have never experienced drugs, but I have the energy of a speed freak! I woke up at 7:00 am both days this weekend (and in the past it would be 9:00 from all the fatigue, so this is good for me). I immediately cooked breakfast and then hit the yard. DH went golfing, so I decided to do the yard work on my own. I weed whacked, mulched, dug and moved flowers, leaf blowed, cleaned up a bunch of brush and sticks all over the yard (we have 2 acres - lots to always do) cleaned driveway, did at least 10 loads of laundry, cleaned our entire house, went grocery shopping, went clothes shopping for DH, went to the movies, did a lot of house errands, cooked all our meals, and still got my 40 minute walk in. And I feel like I should keep going!! To some this may not seem like a lot - but for me to do it all by myself is a big step for me. I suully do all the inside cleaning (and I am a clean freak) and DH does outside. I am proud I have the energy to venture out now!!

Phew - I guess I should releax before the work week. I just love this WOE!!

when you get through at Everlosing's house you can come here...lol!!! The amount of energy we feel is wonderful isn't it? After awhile it will wane somewhat, but I still have more energy than I can remember in my adult life.

Glad to hear you are doing so well on your journey!! Good luck!!

                  Re: Wow what a weekend!

ya i too have far more energy

i go to the gym every day now for 2-3 hours
and then on work days after the gym i go walking for 4-5 hours some of my work involves walking xD
and then when i get home i do more energy requireing things and then when it comes time to sleep i cant sleep! cause my body is not tired

i remmber before i whent on the Atkins diet i never whent to the gym and during my 5 hours of walking i would feel half asleep get sore leg muscles and could bearly complete it and then when i got home i would sleep like a rock xD

on a high carb diet your body eats glucose then when its out of that it eats your muscle.... cause your body is trying to store fat at all costs

but the Atkins diet is Anti-catabolic in other words your body eats fat and then the fat on your body and then lastly your muscle so i think thats why you dont get sore muscles anymore
