    Forgive me Dr A for I have sinned, it has been months since my last needed confession.

    OK I blew it over Easter and have only just come back to the light today.
    Gaining a hideous 3kg (6ish lbs).

    So as I had only just started OWL and must confess I was struggling with it - is it OK to back to to extended induction.

    I am so happy using the induction food lists. I find it easy and comfortable and I lose on it. (I still have 25kg (50lbs) that I want to lose).

    Or should I start back on rung 1 of OWL and just continue from where I was?

    I jumped off the wagon for one meal on Easter Sunday and it took me 4 days of induction just to get back to ketosis. It's not easy but you're lucky about the 6 lbs, that's for sure. Easter morning I was 191 lbs and by mid week was at 200 from ONE NO NO MEAL. It was awful. Lesson learned! I can't imagine going through that again. Go back to induction and see how long it takes to feel great again. You'll know when you're there!!

      Thank you EL, I appreciate the input.

      I feel terrible at the moment - I have indigestion with everything I eat (and have not had that for so long - think it was the first crappy symptom to leave when I started a couple of months ago).

        You WILL get back to where you were. I can only speak from my own experience though and my binge was one meal. It took me on plan Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday to recover to where I was the previous Sunday. It ain't pretty, but it's necessary. Journal about it and refer to that next time you're tempted!! I only need to remember my GI issues to stay on plan now!! I had no idea bread and potatoes could form concrete in my intestines. It didn't in the past but it does with this new body!! Jump back on the wagon and be good to yourself! It feels so much better!
