As Georgiana said, beetroot is not on the allowed list for induction.
As it is a starchy vegetable it can be reintroduced when you are at the 8th rung/level of the second phase of Atkins (ongoing weight loss/aka OWL) if it does not cause you to stall in your losing or give you cravings and other blood sugar problems.
How are you enjoying induction?

many thanks on your reply, I have only been on induction 2 days but im enjoying it, i am absolutely blown away at your before and after pics on the board that it inspired me to start the atkins,, did you find it easy? BEST REGARDS GILLY
Luckily for me I was not really a 'sweets' person, always preferring savoury foods, so it was not too hard to make the switch.
And once I worked out how to make a 'legal' bread-substitute it helped me no end being able to have a bacon sandwich now and again

thats sounds good, sounds like a great idea bacon butty,, do u have the recipe or can u point me in direction for recipe please,,, i live in majorca so hope i can get the ingredients
I vary it by using mayonnaise instead of the cream cheese (to 'save' my cheese allowance for other recipes) and spreading it out on a baking tray to make a slab which can be divided into 6 slices instead of piling up dollops to make rolls.
BTW if you can't find cream of tartar you can make it without and it should work.
