  • Induction snacks / on the go food

Okay I've run into one problems recently rearding the induction phase. I know this sounds ridiculous but two days ago I forgot to eat. When I did remember it was 5pm (I woke up at 6.45). And then yesterday, I don't eat till 7pm in the morning.
I reckon I can coMbat the no appetite thing if I've always got food on me be so I need some suggestions for on the go foods / snacks please.
I know this is my second time asking about snacks but the first time I didn't really get responses that I could use.
Anway please post as I will be grateful for all responses.
    Thanks

First, it's good you're not having much of an appetite, that means things are progressing as they should.

I would say for snacks... celery (with cream cheese if you like), radishes, cucumbers, hard boiled eggs, sliced peppers, sliced tomatoes, cabbage or water chestnuts (both crunchy) ham slices, turkey slices, cheese, and pepperoni (is acceptable too but not recommended because it's considered a "frankenfood"..not the best choice). Just remember, don't go overboard with the amount.

tuna, chicken breast, any other meat you have leftover. Lunchmeat rolled up with cheese, cream cheese, asparagus, pickles .... veggies and sliced jimica can be packed and taken along, string cheese or cheese slices. Anything you can eat at home you can cook in advance and take along. Small plastic containers can be used to take dressing, mayo or sour cream to dunk meats & veggies in. And of course, salad is always a take along winner

Take water bottles and partially freeze them and put them in the bag to help keep things cold until you eat them.

I know you are looking for small portable snacks that don't need refrigeration but the fact is you need a thermal bag and an ice pack to take cold snacks on Induction. Once you get to the nut rung, a half an ounce of nuts is a good replacement that is easier to deal with. But there are no bag and go snacks until then. Sorry.

I take small pepperoni slices and crisp them in the microwave, drain all the grease and pat with a napkin or papertowel, then place in a container and have pepperoni chips. I also pack celery with cream cheese, pickles wrapped with salami and cream cheese in between, or olives. The frozen water bottles is a great idea!!
