Okay my boyfriend and I have been on the atkins for a month now. He's lost 23 lbs. Im stuck at 12 lbs. We eat the same stuff, if he's loosing weight, why am I not? Surely I was suppose to loose more than 12 lbs the first month right?!?!?

No. Guys lose faster in general. The amount of weight you lose also depends on how much "extra" weight you have and on your reaction to certain foods. Your caloric requirement is also lower than his, so if both of you eat, let's say, 1800 calories, he'll lose more since he probably burns more. Same thing about exercise. There really are a lot of factors that determine how much/fast one loses weight.
