i desperately need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i desperately need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    i dont know what i am doing wrong but i have gained back 9lbs.This is the beginning of my fourth week on extended induction and when i weighed myself today for my weekly weigh in it showed 249.I am stumped as to how i have gained this weight. i posted my fitday info the other day and everything that people told me to change i have. So if anybody has any ideals as to why please let me know. also if you need me to post any info just let me know.

    Hi, Cam.

    I'm looking at your menus and there is no way you can possibly gain 9 lbs of fat in 1-2 weeks. You'd have to eat each day 2250 calories above what you are burning. Which obviously did not happen... So the weight gain you see is water. Now why you've gained water weight... there could be a lot of reasons for this.

    Did you change your exercise routine? Did you give up the pork rinds?

      I just looked at those fitday things and I saw a lot of cheese some of those days. I would start looking at cheese. Now that you did cut out/down pork rinds maybe post another one of those fitday things again and lets see how your menu is different.

        i cut the cheese down to no more than 3oz a day.as for the pork rinds i still eat about a bag every 3 days. i have to have something like the pork rinds because i get really hungry at night for some reason and i dont want to eat anything to heavy on my stomach that late. if anyone has any suggestions as to what would be a could replacement for the pork rinds im all open ears.
        also could it be due to the fact that my daily dose of methadone contains
        20 grams of carbs from sorbital?

          save some of your veggies for evening --- when i get hungry for something at night I eat celery sticks, zucchini slices, radishes cut up things like that. I can't eat the pork rinds because even a couple ounces and I'm holding water weight like crazy. Try the veggies at night - see if it helps.

            It could be hormones. though I haven't personally had a hormonal weight swing of 9 lbs... mine are more like 5 or 6 lbs and I can predict the weight gain and subsequent loss like clockwork.

              do males also have hormonal fluctuations the way females do? Please dont
              take offense to this im just a stupid male that doesnt know about things like this.
              Ive tried eating veggies at night but they dont seem to fill the void. i crave sweets at night and for some reason the pork rinds seemed to satisfy my craving. all the ones i eat are the plains ones just pork skins and salt.
              also do the unsalted ones still make you retain water?

                So what did you eat say yesterday?
                It may be as you say your medicine making having this effect but let's look at the menu and see if there is something there.

                  what i dont understand is if it is the medicine how did i lose weight the first
                  week? i was taking the same amount then as i am now.

                    Hi vanzion!

                    i have one question - is that all you ate?!

                    880 calories is not enough food - i eat twice that and im a girl and 50lbs smaller - i suggest upping your calories - i went from 1200 a day to 1800 a day a few weeks back and found my weight loss actually increased - its a little counter-intuitive but it works!

                      thats a bad example.i just wasnt hungry that day and couldnt force
                      myself to eat anymore. although that is the kind of food i eat in a
                      typical day just more of it.
