I have some Burt's Bees banana hand cream that contains sugar. Is this safe to use? I am thinking yes but want to make sure. I feel so dumb even asking this question

Yes, it's safe to use. The size of the sugar molecules does not allow them to be absorbed through skin.

Not a stupid question, I wondered that, too...I know the skin is the biggest organ in the body, so I would have thought it could absorb...good to know.

Nah... if this would happen, the cream should come with a warning for people with diabetes, for example.

Just kind of a dumb ingredient, IMO. Why would they even do it? Doesn't sugar make your hands sticky? Just thinking out loud - I am sure it is not enough to do that, of course.
