OMG Yes! Before changing my WOL I gained as much as 5-8 pounds with ToM. Now, my weight seems to stick with a range of +/- 1.5 pounds.

when I still had periods I would gain anywhere from 5 - 10 pounds before, during and after ..... I think only a small percentage of woman don't gain any during Aunt Flo's visits...

my first time on atkins i gained about 3-5lbs during TOM. i've only had two TOMs since starting atkins this time around and i actually didnt gain but kept losing during them. my first day on atkins was only 1 day before TOM hit so i dont know if that has anything to do with it or not.

I normally gain when ToM comes to visit. It's usually a few pounds. They do go away when he leaves but it's discouraging. If it really bothers you, stay OFF the scale for a week. It'll keep you from being negatively influenced by the box that lives on the floor. I'm excited right now because I actually saw a new low on the scale today and I can promise you I have a pound or two of water retention in my boobs right now. I feel like I've got implants and can't wait for a little whoosh!

Yes! My TOM is around the corner and I am up 5 pounds right now. My clothes all feel tight, even my bras. I have been up as much as 8 pounds. I know what it is, so it doesn't bother, and I just stay off the scale until I am done.

I don't gain weight but I won't lose any weight the week before or the week of ~_~ Which annoys me because then I really only have two or so solid weeks of weight loss per month and I've been trying to maintain a loss of at least 5 pounds a month. I'm one of those lucky few where that ToM is just an inconvenience: no cramps, no cravings and no mood swings. Just immovable pounds ~_~

I always gain when I start my period, but not before when I have PMS. I'm back to normal, or even a little less about a day or two after the end of my cycle.
