  • VERY interesting blog ...

Ok - I'm posting this on the main forum because i think everyone should honestly take a look at this...i'm a huge blog-reader and i came across this one showing the differences of Jack Lelane at 93 years old vs. Ancil Keys at 100 years old...
Jack Lelane is an advocate for NO SUGAR and Ancil Keys is basically the reason why the low-fat craze is what it is...

I can tell you though - I'd MUCH rather look like Jack than Ancil when I'm that age! (well, you know what i mean, being that i'm a chick - hehe)...

just ANOTHER reason to stay away from sugar!!!

Interesting reading Keriann. As for Jack's diet now, I see how it is close to maintenance on Atkins but as an older Atkins follower I also see why he chooses eggs and fish over red meats. I find I don't digest red meat as easily as I used to and have moved to more egg, fish and chicken myself. And as we get older we need fewer calories. Still his physique at 100 is amazing and he is doing Atkins maintenance as far as i can tell---no processed starches, no sugars, lots of veggies. He just eats less protein than us young'uns do which stands to reason.

That was great! I've seen Jack Lalanne's wife and she looks pretty darn good too. They advertise a juicer together on t.v.
Yes, confirms again why it is so important to stay away from sugar.
      Thanks for sharing Kerriann.

Ok - seriously, what has happened to TV? I would watch Jack on TV all day long if I had the chance!
