      Re: Not losing!!

Assuming your weight numbers are in kilograms you are at about 109 pounds, looking to lose 10 pounds.

If you were eating lowcarb 'on and off' recently your body probably has not got the pounds of 'water weight' most dieters lose in the first few days, so your losses might not show for a bit longer.

If you are eating to induction rules wait till you have completed 14 days on induction and see your results before changing too much in your menus.

A 'normal' loss on the 2 weeks is said to be between 5% and 10% of the weight your body needs to lose, so assuming the extra 10 pounds you feel you are carrying are fat, then a loss of between 1/2 pound (225 grams) and 1 pound (450 grams) would be 'normal' for you.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

          Re: Not losing!!

Make sure you are exercising too. When I first went on Atkins I had about 50 lbs to lose and I lost 12 lbs in 2 weeks! I just finished two weeks of re induction, I have only 15 lbs to lose, I lost 4 lbs in 2 weeks.

Had you stopped eating on plan then? There is no point in starting to count your 14 days again unless you have been a while off induction eating.

Just continue to count your days from when you started - you wrote yesterday
i've been on induction atkins for almost a week nw
so if yesterday was your 6th day on induction then today is your 7th and tomorrow will be your 8th day.
Continue eating to plan, drink your water and exercise and when you have done 14 days then weigh and measure to see if you have lost any grams or centimetres/millimetres

                  Re: Not losing!!

If we had to restart our 14 days every time we ate one food off-plan before being able to move to OWL then many of us would still be on induction months later

                      Re: Not losing!!

Thanks! Walking is one of the easiest forms of exercise and I love it! Of everyone I know who lost weight achieved it through walking!

I've been on Atkins since February 2007. I've never been off Atkins but have felt the carb creep with some cheats around the holidays. I've maintained at 145 lbs for 2 years but have yet to reach my goal of 130 lbs. I had gained 5 lbs bringing me up to 150 lb. My clothes felt they were fitting tighter. So I decided to do a re-induction to jumpstart me back into weightloss, prevent me from heading down a bad eating path and to try to finally reach my goal!

I agree with Elizellen, just continue on with induction from where you are at.
