I am proud to say finally that I did not go over the 20 limit carb intake. I got all my carbs from delicious vegetables and I have been following the Atkins Way of Eating more and more each day. I already feel better and less fatigued. I can't wait to weigh myself but I am going to wait until after induction because I want to concentrate on changing my eating habits rather than measuring all the weight that I can lose. I still need to focus on getting enough water intake, so that is my new goal is to get at least the 64 ounces of water each day. I am still having some minor sugar fits but they are not as bad nor as strong as they were for the first couple of days I changed my eating habits. If it wasn't for this site I would have set myself up for failure from day one. So thank you everybody for all the support and for giving me the strength and confidence!

Re: Atkins Day 4
Good for you, Chevelle! I have to about your binge Day One I wasn't sure if you would stick it out, but you have managed to figure it out and I am really glad you are feeling better and missing the sugar less and less.
I find the water is really important. If I don't get enough (for me thats at least 90 ounces a day) I don't lose nearly as quickly. Don't force it too much, just keep sipping away, and over the course of a week or so your water consumption will rise naturally. Seems like the more you drink the more you want. I also squeezed a dash of lemon or lime in for flavor once in awhile, too. Sounds like you are really on your way now!

Well done, Chevelledude
Practice makes perfect
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
