      Hi.

Unless you overate big time, then the majority of those 14 lbs you've gained is water weight brought back by too many carbohydrates. If it is water weight, it should go away quickly once you get back on track.

Which is why the sooner you get back, the better. Try to do something different, so that you get back your enthusiasm for this way of eating. Are you tracking foods in FitDay? Buy yourself a really nice notebook instead and write there everything you eat (the carbs, calories, fat, protein, etc.) and whatever else is on your mind. Look for new recipes you'd like to try and have fun in the kitchen. Or if you don't like cooking, maybe you'd like a new exercise, something you've always wanted to do. Set a few minigoals and reward yourself when you reach them -- not with food, of course, but with a new haircut, a nice massage, some exercise equipment, a manicure, jewellery, clothes, etc.

      Good luck!

You know when you have that whoosh at the beginning of Induction? That happens because, by not giving your body a bunch of bad carbohydrates, it is forced to burn through the glycogen it has available until the switch from glucosis to lipolysis takes place. Glycogen is stored with 3-4 parts water, so when glycogen "goes away", water goes away too. The results of this are immediately visible on the scale.

Now when you eat too many carbohydrates, your body will do the opposite thing. It will go out of lipolysis and back into glucosis, building back its glycogen+water stores.

You certainly didn't gain 14 lbs of only water, but if you overate carbohydrates, you will experience a "whoosh" once you go back to Induction.
