Something to keep in mind enlight of the trolling by PeTA2.

Over at PeTA2 Superturtle is getting it's back patted and being given high 5's for trolling our board.. yet when PeTA2 gets trolled they cry foul and wonder why people would troll their board. I guess it's ok for them to troll and harass people but not for people to do the same to them.. hypocrites.
It's hard to listen to someone's message when they can't be taken seriously.. and Superturtle, you are making it hard for ANYONE here to take PeTA seriously. There are a few people here who have voiced support for PeTA from time to time.. I wonder what they think of PeTA when you come here claiming to be part of PeTA making them seem like a joke? And just for the record for the PeTA2 crowd, some of us ARE vegetarian.. I am pretty much vegetarian and turned that way after starting the Atkins diet.

What everyone here needs to keep in mind is that we are all here for support and to give our support to others who need it. Look at all the success we have had on the board and how many people have actually stuck to something they never thought they would.

Yes some of us are/have been members of the vegetarian/vegan community. I was a vegetarian for 7 years and a vegan for 2.

It's unfortunate that the radical fringe of the vegetarian community does these things. This type of behavior and endorsement of this behavior on their support group delegitimizes their cause. Sad really.

I hope no one here goes over there to disrupt their board and behave as atrociously as Turtle.

We have dignity and class and that will always set us apart from the radical fringe.

I have gone there in the past just to lurk, man there are some really messed up kids who hang out there, and some adults who really make you wonder what their real motives are! I know if I had kids I'd be monitoring their online usage! :yes and you can bet your sweet bippy they would not be frequenting Peta2. :nono
