  • This may be a weird question...but here goes.

I've been back on Atkins since April 6. So far so good. The first couple weeks it was just sort of Atkins lite...lol, but since I've been back on it seriously I've noticed something strange. I have this odd little rash on my upper chest, right below my neck. It doesn't itch or burn or hurt in any way. So last weekend I noticed it's spread to my left forearm. It's just little raised bumps. At first they are a little red but then that goes away and all that is left is the bumps. I'm just wondering if it could be some sort of toxin leaving my body since I'm not eating all that nasty sugar and starch I used to eat. Or maybe I've developed an allergy to some of the perfumes and body sprays I use. That's where I always spray them too....
Has anyone got any input on this?

I am guessing a sensitivity to what you are spraying on.

I usually spray stuff on my clothes rather than on me... that way it's not sinking in through my skin...

I'm assuming that you are spraying the same thing you have always sprayed for a long time now?

have you been eating any nuts? wierd things like that happen to me when i eat nuts

it happens bad when i eat bags of mixed nuts that are old and hard and have wierd darker spots or colors

i also cant eat any Brazil, Cashew, Peanut, Pistachios, Poppy Seeds

i can only eat nuts that are mostly fresh softer and moist also haveing a forest musky smell tells me there fresh too and being clear natural colors no dark spots

It is alergy season...I get hives on my arms & chest this time of year from pollen & dust. I'm not sure where you live tho - it's still early spring weather here
