Yesterday I went to buy some new jeans. I took a pair of jeans and two pairs of trousers into the changing room, put on the first pair of trousers and they were huge! I glanced at the pairs still hanging up and realised I'd taken my old size - two sizes larger, in with me automatically! I had read on the forum a few weeks ago about someone who did the same, but still couldn't believe I'd done it!
Do you recognise this? You open the changing room curtain and the assistant asks you 'Any good?'
You smile and say something like 'I'm not sure, I'll think about it.' Never in a million years would you say 'No thanks, they are too small!' Then you sneak back to the rail and take down a size bigger.
Well not yesterday - I flung open the curtain and announced to the assistant (probably a bit louder than strictly necessary!) 'Do you have these two sizes smaller?'
Ah - the joy!
