My DH and I hosted two big barbecues this weekend and although I didn't cheat, I ate too much food and way too much sodium. Between the sausages, the diet sodas (which I don't normally drink, but it was hot and they were handy) and his deep fried turkey with all the spices and sodium in the rub, I have gained 3-4 pounds. I know it is just water but I was one pound from my mini goal and it ticks me off! I figured it would be gone by now but since we are leaving for the US on Friday we have been eating leftovers this week so I am turning into a big bloated salt block.
Lots of water and green tea today and tomorrow. We'll see what happens.
