  • Go me!!!

I have had a challenging week. I found out I'm very allergic to eggs and moderately allergic to milk, whey, wheat, kidney beans, and peanuts. I have to eliminate all eggs and anything with eggs in them for at least 6 months and then we will retest to see if I stopped producing antibodies. This had severely limited my menu since it takes out dairy and eggs and I ate a TON of eggs...hardboiled, egg salad, oopsie rolls, pumpkin bread, omelets, mayo, etc. I was already avoiding dairy, but this just makes it so much harder.

Anyway, my dad flew in tonight to stay until Tues and he is a junk food-aholic. Plus hubby was having buddies over to play board games and I make snacks for the boys. Well, I made my famous brownies and I always "lick" the bowl. Brownie batter is awesome. Well, I didn't. One of the guys brought homemade cupcakes and I didn't touch them.

I've been on the Atkins plan for about 6 weeks now and had only one cheat, but it was planned because it was my b-day and I only treated with one thing, not the whole day.

I'm proud I am doing so well even if the pounds aren't falling off. I think a lot of people would give up if they were as limited as I am in food choices, but I'm not. My friend asked if I was down to eating carboard and dirt!

    Thanks for listening.

      Re: Go me!!!

allergic to eggs that reminds me of something theres a O-blood type list of foods to avoid that O-blood type people can be allergic too i dont know how accurate it is for most people but i find that i think im allergic to almost all of them so i avoid them

but one thing to note is for eggs he said for someone to basically be allergic to them you need to be african american does anyone find this to be true?

i always had my doubts to if it was even possible to be allergic to eggs untill now

heres the O-blood type list btw

      http://www.drlam.com/blood_type_diet/blood_o_chart.asp

the Atkins diet is the best to go for ALL blood types i have ran a poll before asking that and clearly the Atkins diet is the best for all blood types xD

but he did get alot of the foods i was allergic too right in the foods not allowed section and i was pretty amazed at that so

      http://www.drlam.com/blood_type_diet/

if you know any foods your allergic too see how closely they match too the foods he says to avoid for your blood type by clicking your blood type and scrolling down to the detailed chart to see the list of foods in the food not allowed sections

theres also a most beneficial section you can see if that matchs your own exp with that food as well

then some feedback to how accurate he is for you and your blood type would help me alot thanks

remmber the Atkins diet is the best for all blood types this is mostly just to see how accurate he is with the foods your blood type is allergic too
