Sham..what a wonderful idea to do a cousins party! Good for you for eating well too. Hope you all enjoyed your party. My nephews do not live near us and unfortunately, my boys are not very close to their cousins. I wish we could do get togethers like that.

Ognum...hope you arrived home safe and sound. Also hope it isn't too cold. I know it is winter but I will still complain about the cold. lol Truthfully, if the sun is out ...I am happy.

Finally had a weigh in today. Down 2lbs! I can't believe I went down. Now to keep it off for the rest of the holidays.
Well, today I am painting (my bathroom...still...it is a long, ongoing process) and wrapping/packing presents to send to my family.

Hope both of you and EVERYONE that is out there in Buddyland have a wonderful Sunday! Enjoy it and do something nice for yourselves.

Hi Jane sorry reply is late havent logged on in 4 days.I see your also online as your poting the same time as me.Yes a cousins party was a great idea we will have another one next Thursday probably well do you get together for Christmas do the boys see their cousins then?
Wow congrats on the 2lb loss which came unexpected those losses are extra special!
Hows the bathroom going I bet its finished?
Anyway we had some snow yesterday it was freezing.Today the floor is abit slippery and icy hate going out its too damn cold.Were expecting to get more snow I dont like it.Have a lovely Friday and enjoy the weekend oh Im so happy the kids break up for xmas holidays as I can sleep in for 2 weeks!

Hi Ognum you must be back here in the Uk and feeling extra cold as its a weather change after your holiday.Its freezing isnt it?It even snowed yesterday and today its icy and slippery on the roads quite dangerous.How are you settling back I know you would prefer going back to the Caribean and must miss it.

Sham! Nice to hear from you. I have been busy too. My bathroom is still not done...haven't touched it in days. I want it done for next week so need to get busy.
It is very cold here too. I would rather have it cold and sunny though.
My boys usually see their cousins in the summer. We don't travel much in the winter.
Two of my boys are on vacation now. My youngest goes through the 23rd. I love vacation. I don't sleep in usually but just having things more relaxed is nice.
Today, I really want to get a lot done so I can relax more over the weekend.

Ognum...how are you doing? Hope everything is going well for you. I imagine you are busy.

Hello! Hope everyone has a good weekend!

I made cookies with my youngest on Sat.

Today I spend the day painting the rest of my bathroom. Yay! Its done, except for a few minor touch ups. What a relief.

This week I am hoping to get some cooking done early and get everything in order so that I can just relax when my in-laws come on Thurs. And my hubby is coming home on Wed (hope for good weather!).

I hope everyone has a great night and a good start to the week.

Making cookies with your son sounds good did you taste one?I think they smell gorgeous and Id be tempted to eat them so no baking in my house.

ok ok i admit it.. i need help! It's December.. and its true, all the parties and get togethers... I have been doing sooo goood.. untill a week or so ago.. I keep telling myself that it's December.. and i will get rigid again as soon as Christmas is over.. I believe i will , least i have every intention.. and i haven't thrown it alllll away.. i still am eating like i should for the most part.. but .. i have also been enjoying far to many illegal treats. sigh... i have managed to not gain, until a today..... i am up a few pounds.. i want to believe i am retaining some water as the foods were very salty and i drank vodka too. ahh man.. i worried ahead of time about this time of year... the holidays create a certain nostalgic angst for me.... sigh.... Thank heavens these holidays are nearly come and gone.. I really hate sounding like a scroodge... i don't really feel that way, but i sound like it i am sure.
I did have an amusing "discovery" the other day.. i'd like to share. I was laying watching tv, and i found a large hard lump in the center of my chest just above my stomach , i prodded and felt all around it, and it kind of startled me.. it felt strange to me... i had my boyfriend feel it.. and he started to laugh at me... he said.. silly.. that is your sternum. The look on my face must have been priceless , it never occured to me... i haven't felt that thing since before i had children some twenty years ago... also.. along with that .. i have been slowly but surely discovering rib bones.. didn't know i had those either.. I am loving the new me, and no matter how i am stuggling with the holiday foods.. I can never go back.. i won't let me.. i love how the new me feels. in my own skin, in my clothes... the only downer.. and i am hoping it will improve.. is my skin.. is very droopy.. i am afraid it will be just as my own mothers was after she lost a lot of weight. ...ok well thanks for letting me share, and will appreciate any words of encouragement. Merry Christmas to you all...

Hi Lacypieyour not alone reading peoples journals most members are having a hard time in this month and are having cheats due to xmas parties,cookies,eating out etc.I have restarted induction many times this month.The kids are home on holiday and when their eating the forbidden foods Iget tempted and join them silly me I should know better and should have more willpower.I am back on day 1 induction so far Im doing well and this time Im hoping for a great kickstart before the new year.We can do this together and see how were getting along just visit us daily or whenever you can at this buddies thread we will all be there for you and help you along.Hope you are doing well.Have a great day and visit often.
