Hi,
I am still waiting for my DANDR to come in the mail.. Meanwhile, I am on day 9 of induction and have followed the rules that I have found here and other web sites. One thing that I cannot determine is the veggie intake for induction. I have seen 12-15g of carbs from veggies daily....but I have also seen either have 3 cups of salad (lower carb) veggies OR 2 cups of them plus 1 cup of "other" (higher carb) veggies. The dilema: by eating 3 cups of veggies (either all salad or the mixed version), you aren't getting 12-15 carbs from them. It's way lower. I track all of my meals of Fit Day and 3 cups of salad is between 3-3.5 carbs.
So would someone with the book, please clarify what Dr. Atkins himself (not the corporation after his passing) states for the vegetables during induction please?
Thank you all...you are a wonderful group of people...I have spent some time reading through the discussions on this board and God bless all of you!
BTW ...I met my mini goal 1 today and it feels awesome!
