  • I am sad

    I weighed Friday like I always do and I was up 2 lbs. I attributed it to the red meat I had eaten the two days before. I have been drinking all of my water (104 oz a day), had no red meat since, and am still up those 2 lbs. I am tracking every little thing I put in my mouth on Fitday. I have done this before, lost lots of weight, I know what I am doing. I also don't feel good. I am always in either the last stage of moderate ketosis or the beginning of large. I feel drained and sore (I have fibromyalgia). I am not sleeping well again and I had been sleeping great since starting. I am not eating anything any different at all. I am on rung 1 of OWL. What could be going on? HELP

    I WILL lose 75 lbs! I WILL wear a size 10! I WILL live to enjoy great grandchildren!

    You could share your menu if you like.
    But it is so important to realize that this happens all the time. Our bodies are weird things. Stress or hormones or salt or something makes the body retain water and hang onto stuff and before we know it the scale can be up 2 or 5 or more pounds. When things calm down the body will let go of this stuff. The best thing to do it to keep to the plan. And don't let the scale get that much power over you. That thing can be plain evil.
