Diet Coke with Splenda?

Hello,

I am restarting tomorrow and got some diet coke with splenda thinking it was better than regular diet coke. Is this true?

hi summer,
i was on here a couple of weeks ago because even though my diet and exercise programme was really good i had completely stalled for 6 weeks..i then took some advice and stopped my caffeine and splenda intake..my weight loss kicked back in..
i think you need to watch your intake of artificial sweeteners,asparatame especially

Hiya!

Yeah I learned today that you should avoid all artificial sweeteners particularly in induction and completely if possible throughout. Also...any soda....in general causes you to retain water. I would really just cut out soda and opt for a sparkling water with no sweeteners.

Thanks for the advice! I think I will stick to just water...I tried the diet coke with splenda and bleh! It was so gross!
