Re: starting adkins again
Hi Wendy
Welcome to our ADBB family
How is it going for you?Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!

Re: starting adkins again
Congrats on getting back on the wagon! Atkins really is an amazing thing. I've been low carbing for going on 6 years. Over that time I lost 70 lbs as well. 200 to 130. It's been an off and on struggle, but any time you fall off, you can always get right back on.

Re: starting adkins again
I am re-starting, too. My advice to myself is to follow plan exactly right this time. Meaning, going through the rungs and figuring out to make maintenance work for me. Last time, I stayed on induction the whole time almost. What a mistake. I never learned how to get it right.
Welcome back, we can do this.149.8/no weigh/ 119

1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
what the rungs mean to me:
rung 1 - more veggies
rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
rung 4 - berries, melon
rung 5 - wine -
rung 6 - beans, hummus
rung 7 - other fruits
rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
(on to pre-maintenance)
