i have probably missed this and i am sorry if a have... what is the general consensus for green tea.. i have found one that is made as a diet.. no sugar no carbs, with citrus flavor?? i am trying to kick the diet soda habit.....

The best thing you can drink is plain, old water... and plenty of it.
That said... the general caution around here is that caffiene and artificial sweeteners are potential traps. Best be careful.
In the past, while doing low carb, I used to drink a fair amount of Arizona diet green tea with ginseng. This time around, I've shied away from it and any other "sweets". And I must say that my cravings this time around are practically nill.Name: Forrest

Consider making your own green tea. That way you control the sweetener. You can do the traditional 'heat the water' method, or just put a couple green tea bags in a jar with water and put in a sunny window or on a porch. Green tea has good health benefits, and making your own is sensible and cheaper. The no carb green tea is a way better choice than soda, and is not likely to do any harm. I lked the Lipton citrus diet flavor, although it now tastes too sweet for my taste buds.
