    Hi everyone,

So i posted here a few weeeks ago about my horrible nightsweats, after going to get checked out, it turns out i'm allergic to eggs!!!!! since cutting them out i've had no more night sweats!!!!

i just have to think of something else to have for breaky instead of eggs!

Started induction again yesterday after falling off the wagon into a sea of carbs as the night sweats were getting me so depressed and tired!

      Re: Egg allergy

Lots of other things you can eat for breakfast once you start to think outside the breakfast mould... I used to enjoy leftover meat, tomatoes and cheese, avocados...
Once you hit OWL there are even more different things you can have, depending on your rung.
My latest fav breakfast (maintenance) is a homemade meusli made from uncooked oats (small amount), mixed chopped nuts, a piece of fruit chopped and cold mock milk (cream lengthened with water), splenda.

Good that you now know about your allergy!

can you use "egg beaters"? maybe a quiche made with them?

          Re: Egg allergy

Egg Beaters are real eggs with less fat and cholesterol than shell eggs. So someone allergic to eggs should not eat this product...

            Re: Egg allergy

I'm not an egg person at all so I started having soup for breakfast. There are some nice soups on the never ending induction recipe thread and lindas website.
So far I have had the Egg Drop and Creamy Broccoli soup and they both were very good.

              Re: Egg allergy

I am also allergic to eggs (just found out 2 weeks ago). Anyway, I have been having sweet italian turkey sausage with sauteed onion and peppers for breakfast. I also found Vegenaise mayo which is dairy and egg free. I tried a couple kinds and the grapeseed one tastes like mayo. The others do not. Good luck.

                Thanks for all the replies!

Its so weird not eating eggs, i usually ate a nice boiled egg as a snack when i was a bit hungry. Going to hunt through the recipe pages and see what else i can whip up in the kitchen

On a brighter note i have totally discovered the joys of running!!! i'm upping my time at the gym each and everyday on the treadmill. Today was 25 mins! I might go for my first run outside tomorrow
