Rifleman - great news....it looks like you are doing real well on plan.

Focus -- remember men loose faster and generally more weight than women do -- it's their metabolism as compared to ours. Keep up the good work you are doing.

snaggleruk - we don't count calories -- we keep track of total net carbs.

Exercise is NOT an option ... it's a must on this plan. If you aren't exercising already you should be!

Congratulations Rifleman! That is a phenomenal loss.

AND FOR ALL OF YOU grumbling about your failure to lose that amount, he is a guy and young and not YOU! This loss is not typical (as they say in the infomercials) so don't compare yourselves! Congratulate him on his good fortune and know that you will get there too, it will just take a little longer.

              Re: 20lbs in 21 days!

Hey thanks for the compliments guys! I haven't done anything real special, just followed the rules right down to the nitty gritty.

I try to run a mile (run until I can't stand it anymore and power-walk until I can run again) about 3 or 4 times a week. I really don't watch calories, but according to fit day I'm around 1500/day. I drink maybe 1.5 gallons of water a day as well.

              A few things I've noticed:

              - If by chance I miss a meal I can really feel an energy drain, but as soon as I eat I'm right back on top again.
              - Even though it is 20lbs, I can't say it 'looks' like I've lost 20lbs (I've seen the same results with other people who lost fast on here, maybe it's a trend?)
              - Before the diet I was getting about 9 hours of sleep; now I'm at around 7 and I feel really energetic as soon as I wake up.
              - My face as cleared up some.
              - ADBB is extremely addicting

                Well done, Adam
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Well, I'm a guy and I only lost four pounds on my first two weeks in induction - not 14 lbs. in 14 days. I wish I could lose at this rate.

That's off of the pc version of fitday. Again, thanks for the compliments guys--I'm starting to notice some inches in the mirror as well.
