  • My new mini goal

    Ok....since I was at 280...

    My new mini goal is 259 by June 27th.

    Can any offer their workout routines.....and tell me what they do for excercise?

    I do 1 to 2 miles in the morning and 2.5 to 3 miles at night and then I also do 150 sit ups....which I need to ratchet up to 250 at some point.

    You've just lost 20 lbs... You are not going to lose another 20 lbs in 1 month... setting unrealistic goals is setting yourself up for disappointment...

    259 is very doable... unfortunately our bodies don't know how to tell time and they like to lose on their schedule not ours... let your body determine the when and the how much

      That's my goal, and what I will work for. Don't ever tell anyone that essentially their goals arent going to happen, it's like a kick in the gut. If I said I want to be at my goal weight by then thats one thing. All my goal is a little under 4 lbs a week, which with the proper diet and excercise plan is possible, difficult but possible. Atleast it's a goal, and I am going to try and make it rather than sit and say who cares what the scale says. It's not the date...or the amount it's the principal for me of saying hey this is what I want...and I am going to do everything in my power to get there...and lets see if it can be done in a month.

        I don't think it's an unrealistic goal at all! Especially with the workout routine your already doing, just stick with it and you'll get there! I'm hoping to lose 20lbs by July 1st as well but I'm not working out as much as you are, I still think it's very possible though.

          Thank you! It's not going to be easy, I know. However, as long as I am prepared to be strict, and stick with my routine it's doable. It's no more difficult than allowing the weight to stay on and do nothing about it and be unhappy. I am excited, and motivated, loving being active now and loving getting healthy
