    Hi,
have recently lost around two stone now, but I've plateaud at 12 stone. I'd like to be around 11 to 11 1/2 stone. Off on holiday in four weeks time to Rhodes Greece. I'd like to try and reduce my weight a little before I go. Any help would be gratefully received. Where do I begin?

    Kind regards

    Dave

    Re: Newbie

Dave, the best way I know to get things moving is to totally shake up your exercise routine with something new and challenging 3-4 times a week and up your water intake by a third for a couple of days just to shake things up.

    GOAL TWO 213 (personal goal)
    GOAL THREE 199 ONE-DERLAND
    FINAL GOAL 165

It's not about the results. Its about the process.

Dave - if you are still on induction you may want to move on to OWL Rung 1 -- it's an additionaol 5 net carbs of veggies and believe me it works wonders! Your body may just be taking time to catch up after your weight loss...Rung 1 will help with that also.

I agree also with Jill - shake things up with exercise and drink more water to help flush everything out. Good luck

        Re: Newbie

        Hi,
thanks for the reply. But, I don't know whether I started my thread on the wrong forum or not?
I haven't actually started the atkins yet. I was looking for some guidance on how to start off. My other weight loss was just cutting down on all of the junk food really; biscuits, crisps, beer etc.

        Kind regards

        Dave

          Re: Newbie

I started the Atkins Diet about 2 weeks ago. I've been having quite a time with it. I was on it for about 3 months a couple years ago, and i lose quite a bit of weight. Now, it won't budge! I've tried everything had the book by my side, even posted a few things on the forum.
Cut out the diet pepsi, got rid of the caffeine. I do work out, about 30 mins a day suggested by Atkins in his book. I also follow the guidelines by the "T". I was just wondering if the Atkins diet is good for everyone? Maybe my body isn't reacting to it like it should be.
I'm frustrated, and for almost being at the end of induction, and not losing barely any weight and even gaining a pound, you all must know how frustrating that must be!
