    Ok, I am losing inches in my waist, 4 this month to be exact, but that is the only place. I have lost .5 in my bicep but NOTHING anywhere else!! My hips and thighs and calves are the exact same. I can see loss in my face but you don't measure that. I am not even losing in my neck. I have lost 31 lbs so far. I WANT COLLAR BONES!!!! What is up with no inches lost?

    1. Fit into "the" jeans MET 9/19/09 SIZE 12!!!!
    2. Be ONEderful MET 6/10/09
    4. Take my son hiking and not die afterwards MET 7/11/09
    5. Feel good having a family portrait made MET 8/8/09 AT THE WEDDING
    6. Buy size 7 sexy panties DONE!






    I WILL lose 75 lbs! I WILL wear a size 10! I WILL live to enjoy great grandchildren!

    Hi Denise - I haven't lost in the "normal" places I always loose in either - but not to fear, I am loosing in the most fatty areas of my body first. The less fatty areas will catch up but your body is working on the areas you need to loose first.

      Oh trust me, my hips and butt are my fatties. I now have 47 inch hips, two 28 inch thighs, and a 34 inch waist!!

        I promise...it will all even out! You have to be patient. In the beginning, most of the weight lost is water weight. The body generally doesn't drop fat from the areas we'd like first. In fact, I have found my problem areas are still problem areas even after a 55 pound loss. The GREAT news is...it will happen. I lost a LOT of weight before my hips and belly fat began to shrink. Then, BOOM, one day I looked in the mirror and I could tell there was a huge difference. The results you want to see will present themselves, I promise. Patience, patience. I know it's hard but soon you'll love what you see when you look at your reflection. I found at 40 pounds lost, I could really tell a difference. Everyone else around me did too. As you get closer to goal, every pound you lose will make a bigger difference in your appearance. Stick with it. Goal is right around a few corners!!

          I am just like you Fat Cat and the place I would like to lose first is my calves and after 70 pounds loss they have gone down, drum roll please, a total of 0.25 inch (if that). (INSERT HUGH LONGING SIGH HERE) I have not given up but am resigned to the fact that it is going to leave everywhere else before it finally vacates my saddlebags, knees and calves. But I do finally have collar bones so have a hope.

            ok you sound like me i have posted on here somewhere about my theorys lol, but this is what i found.

            i lost weight
            i stalled
            while i stalled i lost inches from the top half of my body a whole boob size lol.
            then i started losing weight again
            when i stalled again i noticed that id lost inches of my bum and waist doen to my calves and nothing off my upper body,

            so im waiting to stall again and i will post if it come of the top or bottom,im guessing its the tops turn.

            just stick with it,it will come off your body may react differently and you will see your collar bones soon.
            Start = 210 lbs
            current = 195 lbs
            goal = 168 lbs

            it is so true if the scale doesnt move:YOU ARE LOSING INCHES.
