It has taken me a while, but I did it. My weight loss has been slow. I have been on this WOL since 1-1-09. I was slowly dropping weight. I was told to try cutting quantity. I didn't do it until now. It seems to have kick started the weight loss again. I was stuck at 305 for a month. Today I am 299! Finally out of 300s. I am on my way. I decided to only eat when I am hugry. Even if that means I only eat twice a day. Most days I am not hungry until 11. I will not eat three meals a day just because it is convention. I eat when I am hungry! So, here goes. I hope that I won't be five months for the next 30 pounds to come off. I doubt it will. But, I am on this for life. It doesn't matter how long it takes. As long as it comes off. I drink tons of water and have 3-4 cups of salad a day. I am at about 30 carbs a day and its working. I am celebrating! No more 300+!

Started on 1-1-2009. Male, 6'2" and 35 years old.
Starting weight 330, Goal weight 220
My Reasons for loosing weight:
to avoid diabetes, to avoid a heart attack, play with my kids without sucking wind, feel better, look better, and to enjoy life more.

We moved and I quit eating right for June, July, August, and September.

Sounds like you are back on your way again and have a great outlook on all of it. I am also a slow loser. Its a long haul thing fo us and in the end that may not be a bad thing in terms of maintenance. We will have lots more practice. LOL

also try working all your muscles out abbs,chest,back,shoulders,calve raises,biceps,triceps,legs squats do thigh extentions and leg curls before squats so you dont hurt your knees
im finding that by working all your muscles and draining the glucose out of all your muscles then all the 30 carbs worth of glucose you eat will go straight to your muscles in other words even better fat loss
try get a gym trainer to show you how to exercise and train properly
about 3-4 years ago i slowly lost about 100 pounds on Atkins but i had to eat 25-30 net carbs a day and i also did lots of cardio from the job i have
then i was stuck at 230 for like a year then i whent to the gym
i cut out more than half of my cardio from my job but lifted heavy weights and worked all my muscles i must have lost another 40 pounds of fat and gained 40 pounds of muscle
also once or maybe twice a week at the gym i do 7-10 min cardio on its max resistance
i look a heck of a lot better now but one things for sure that i learned just cardio does not cut it you need full body muscle work outs to really feel and look great
been on Atkins for 5 years now and eat about 50-70 carbs a day now
