Restarted induction after being gone from the forum for three years. After 5 days starting to get constipated. I went through it before last time so this time around, I made sure to take fiber pills regularly. The pills really aren't working very quickly and the normally did in the past. Solutions? I have followed strict induction thus far, down 7 pounds in 4 days. Up the carbs a little until it passes? Up the fats?

Re: Need help on an induction issue
I know what you mean, girl! I found the fiber in the allowable veggies just isn't enough.
I swear by ground flax seeds. I usually put some in salad dressing, deviled eggs, the egg nog shake (posted in recipes). And it's VERY effective. No digestional issues anymore. They're also shock full of super healthy fats and 0 net carbs!!!

Try adding veggies that are higher in fiber than what you are eating now. If fiber pills aren't working, try flax seed (ground) or psyllium husk - also increase your water intake. Are you exercising? That helps too.Julie__________________F/37/5'2"__________________Start April 15, 2009
