I had 2 hotdogs late at night and sure enough I woke up 2 lbs. heavier. I could tell it was water retention because I couldn't get my ring off...
So I waited a day and kept my sodium low and woke up and had lost the two lbs. was back to where I started...
My question is... How long does sodium have an effect on our bodies? If I had had those hotdogs in the morning, would the sodium have been gone come the next morning?
At this point I'm afraid to eat bacon in the morning because I don't want to wake up the next day with a gain of water weight...
