I know they're considered "Frankenfoods" but does anyone have any recommendations? I'm looking for the lowest carb count possible. Checked the nutrition info but would love some recommendations as well.
I agree with Georgiana. It's kind of a way to cheat the diet, instead of learning the true values that come from the Atkins WOE. The ingredients aren't legal for Phase 1 (Induction), and eating the bars will quite possibly derail your progress and make you crave carbs even more (I've seen it happen).
Are you still in Extended Induction? You have very little to lose! You should think about OWL, then you can start incorporating berries and nuts and fruits the right way!
Start date: 03/14/09 Goal #1 - 260 - Met 04/12/09! Goal #4 - 230 - Met 08/03/09! Goal #2 - 250 - Met 05/22/09! Goal #5 - 220 - Met 01/29/10 FINALLY! Goal #3 - 240 - Met 06/20/09! Goal #6 - 210
Hate to keep bursting your bubble, but unfortunately the carbs in atkins bars simply don't add up. When I did atkins the first time, I used to eat them and they caused stalls and excessing cravings. You're body needs to learn not to crave sugar.

Good luck!
That's what I was thinking... The info on the main screen would say only 1 carb, but then I would look at the actual nutrition info and it would say something like 19 carbs. I know they're subtracting all the sugar alcohol and fiber and stuff, but the math just seemed a little screwy to me. ("Like making a deal with the devil" I know Atkins himself has said.)
Georgiana~ I'm in extended induction, which I'm tailoring to my individual needs, more like OWL, but not as permissive.
I'm definitely not looking for a way of life here, but a way to deal with that candy bar craving with out the 80 grams of carbs that come with it. It would only be a once in a blue moon thing, but I see that they're not really popular here.
