I just realised that I am not following the same book that I believe everone else is following! I see that the book has a photo of Dr.Atkins on it! My book is called "The All New Atkins Advantage" by Styart L. Trager, M.D. Should I be following the other book? I want to do this right!!!Thanks so much!

Re: Do I have the correct book??
Yes, you should be following the 2002 version of Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution (known as DANDR on here). You can find it on amazon new, or on half.com for about a dollar plus shipping.- M/37

Re: Do I have the correct book??
What you have is the new Atkins edition of the book, which has several changes done to the diet (mainly to veggies, net carbs and frankenfoods allowed during the Induction phase). The 2002 edition of DANDR, which is the one we use here at ADBB, is the last Dr. Atkins published.Originally posted by Dorrie View PostI just realised that I am not following the same book that I believe everone else is following! Re: Do I have the correct book??
OMG!!!
Thank you very much Slapshot!!
I will get a copy today!
Now I am curious to see the difference...the book I have is for a 12 week program...focusing so much on fitness! I know that fitness is important but I am trying to focus more on the food and how it all works. Hubby and I have both been stalled for a bit and it is soooo frustrating...but we are not giving up. We have seen some results and look forward to more!
Hope the change in books makes some difference!
Again, thank you kindly for the info!!!!Hugs Dorrie

I think success here is 80% diet, 20% exercise, so if you start going by the book, you'll be in great shape, literally and figuratively...- M/37
