  • Caution: I'm dissing Splenda here. EAYOR

Just wanted to urge everyone to switch to Stevia because of the chemicals and processes that other sweeteners have or have gone through. I care, that's all. I don't hold shares of Stevia stock I swear! When sugar is put through a radiation field of sorts, BAM! Splenda. I'm not trying to be a smart-alec or a total hippie either, I just don't buy into a lot of the "FDA-approved" nonsense.

Now you know, and knowing is half the battle. I want everyone to succed, and long-term at that! Good Luck!

      FDA Approved....definition???

To the highest bidder goes....FDA Approval.

By the way, these are the same soul-less demons who keep viable and safe alternative medical treatments from becoming "approved" in this country. It all comes down to money, especially when the do the right thing because it's the right thing to do, all moral government is involved. Think that sounds bitter? Yes, it does....and I have a dead father to prove it.

I hate the FDA and trust little of what they put their almighty stamp on! Research aspartame and see what familiar names you find. Check out who pushed that one through the FDA. It doesn't matter that the ingredients in a Diet Coke are proven to become carcinogenic when exposed to heat. And we all know those cans of soda are transported in refrigerated trucks that keep it at 35 degrees from the time it's produced, right? Wrong! In my family, we call Diet Coke brain tumor formula.

It does all come down to money. If it didn't, Ted Kennedy wouldn't still be alive. And his brain tumor treatment is another whole tangent I won't subject you to but money can buy life in a country where we can have and do anything...as long as you have the money!

Whole heartedly agree... noone ever thinks a brain tumor can happen to them. right?
But that's not the only concern: Splenda is a 'neurotoxin'. Some people are more sensitive than others. AND it's cumulative and hard for our bodies to get rid of... seizures, headaches, and other strange neurologic symptoms are associated with splenda and aspertame... but don't get me started. sore subject for me...
