  • Liking the changes in me.

When I started Atkins over 51/2 months ago.. I had quite a healthy appetite. I could eat as much as my 6' 4 male friend. and often would go back for seconds. Now... when I go out, i noticed I always take a doggy bag home with me. I listened to what the books said. only eating till I was satisfied. well that happens a lot sooner now days. I may only eat a 1/4 of what i once did. I also started doing something else that shows a change in my habits. When my plate of food comes, i ask for a doggy box, cut my food in half, put half in the box.
I also notice that my tastes have changed soo much .. i used to salt everything and not very lightly either. now, i notice, that most foods already taste salty to me, and I no longer automatically reach for the salt. that is one battle I thought i would never win.
Atkins for life... and inspiring others feels sooo awesome.

That's great. I feel some changes right now at just a couple of weeks. I can't wait to reach the level that you are at.

You are so right! I think learning to listen for my body's "getting full" signal was the hardest habit to form. I was used to eating those large portions and retraining myself not to finish is still something I need to work on at times.

It's not about the results. Its about the process.
