I was just browsing through another forum I belonged to and it reminded me as to why I joined this forum. It's a general weight loss forum but everyone is sooo pushy with "low calorie, low fat" and doesn't give anything else a chance. In fact, they only ridicule other weight loss techniques.. so being on Atkins, you can only imagine what these "fitness gurus" say.
Anyways, I was looking through one of the threads and read this assumption!

WHAT!? If you're gonna knock something before you try it, READ. Read anything about this friggin lifestyle!! I'm not saying "go out and read the book". But read a friggin sticky! Read a summary! A review! Anything!!!!
If you're going to criticize it, learn at least the basics of the diet so you don't sound like a moron!!
