Re: afraid to restart
Thanks everyone! My health and life are already very affected by all this extra weight. I have joint problems that won't go away, and maybe losing weight will help them. I can't walk around a lot, or do lots of normal everyday activities due to these problems. I HAVE to get this weight off.
SO I've stayed on plan all week now. Am down 11 pounds in 6 dyas (and "only" up 22 from when I went off plan, now I'm at 249). I think a lot of that must have been water, as the first time I started Atkins I only lost about 6 pounds in the first week. I'm frustrated that I have to "redo" the 22 pounds - but tell myself it will be much better to get them off than not to and continue regaining till I'm back where I started.
No increased hair loss so far - I'm hoping to stick it out on Atkins and that the hair loss won't come back. I know you are right that the weight loss is more important than the hair loss - but it is very upsetting to me.
