    First Week Complete - Feeling great !!!

    Hello Everyone,

    Hope all is well... I am feeling alot better now that I have gotten through the initial fog a couple days ago... I have lost a total of 8.8 pounds... Ahhhh... feels great... I have not felt this good since I did atkins the first time around... Lots of energy, so much so its been hard to sleep... Anyone ever have that problem... but I am starting to manage it alot better... Not drinking so much water before bed time...

    Having a hard time keeping up with my calories and finding hard to eat some days because I feel full most of the time... any suggestions? My current BMR is 3,100 cals per day... I am eating about 2000 to 2500 cals per day... 65F - 30P - 5C and Drinking lots of water... about 96 ounces per day.

    Well just wanted to update everyone because I had posted several posts when I wasn't doing well.... Thank you for your support...

    Glad to hear you are back on track and have surpassed the fog stage. Isn't the energy great! If you are having a hard time keeping up with your calories you should try fitday or sparkpeople.com. Both are great resources and allow you to track your calories, fitness, and weight loss. I too have days where I do not feel like eating anything. I just make myself eat because I know in order to keep my metabolism in high gear I need to eat every 3-4 hrs. I think that eating several mini meals throughout my day helps me a lot, but I can only speak for myself! Good luck with continued success!

        Great Job on a great start again... I too did "Atkins" in the past (more lc) and gained some back and now starting again, but this time I feel I'm doing Atkins 100% and I feel great as well. I know what you mean about the appetite... mine seems to be going. Example 2 oz of chicken and 1/2 cup of veggies is more then enough on my stomach, but not for my calories/ect....

            Don't worry about how many calories you are getting... As long as you are full and content, just go with it... Keep your carbs low, your water intake high and all will be well with your world...
