I was losing a pound a day all of a sudden no weight lose it stopped. I was tired and could'nt sleep. Well, I had always just eating my salad and a lot of of second list veggies probable the amount that I'm eating now. I never measured and never had a problem but then I decided to start to measure. I chopped broccoli as it is my favorite and put it in a measuring cup. 1 cup it didn't seem like enough but oh well I've been doing it like that for almost 4 weeks and no weight lose. I thought it was weird I would go through 2 bags of fresh crowns in one week and now in the last 4 weeks I only go through less then one bag a week. So I just weigh one cup of finely chopped broccoli and it was 2.6 ounces which by the nutritional info on the bag says after fiber it has only 2 carbs. So after my salad I was only eating about 3-4 veggie carbs a day. Wow ok, now I know why my weight lose stopped. For the last 2 day I've been eating 6 ounces of broccoli which is 12 carbs after fiber and I'm down 1 pound. AHHHH!!!! I just wasted 1 month of weight lose but at least I figured out what was holding me back thanks to the quick glance I took at the nutritional info on the broccoli bag.

I have just started and lost really well the first 6 days and today only .4 pounds, which is great, but still questioned why the weight loss just stopped... I have felt bloated and not as good... and it hit me when I read your post... the first 5 days I had cauliflower dish which had 9 carbs per serving... instead I've had a cup of cucumbers for 2 days... now wondering if that had something to do with it...
Glad you found it out and shared... will have to go get some cauliflower and see if that makes a difference.It is okay if it takes me a little longer to get there, besides this is where I'm going to stay forever and that is a really long time!!!

Ya, I have my energy back. I fell straight to sleep the last 2 nights. I feel full all day and have to look at the clock or I forget to eat where as the last 4 weeks I was always hungry. I feel better all around. I tried everything even cutting out cheese and cream cheese. I felt so bad I even stopped coming here. just getting in the correct amount of veggies put me right back on track and I'm finally below 200 I'm so happy. I hope that getting the correct amount veggies puts you back on track to. Amanda good luck and great job on your weight lose!

I'm down another pound so that must have been my problem just wasn't eating an adequate amout of veggies. Only getting in 1 cup of broccoli 2-3 carbs worth just isn't enough for me and wasnt add up to the 12-15 veggies carbs we are suppose to have as salad is just 2-3 carbs for 2 cups. I also have my energy back and walked 5.4 miles with my son in a jogging stroller in 93* weather yesterday. A few days ago before adding more broccoli to equal 12 carbs I wouldn't have had the energy to do more then a mile I know I tried.

It is great how adding some more veggies can sometimes help! This is one reason we often suggest people move to OWL and not stay too long on induction.
