i will start with a small haiku

On this way of life
I'm no longer overweight
Hope I find a wife

lol corny i know, but i figured i'd @ least get it started!!! enjoy everyone and lets have some fun with this

I think that I shall never see
a condiment as good as ghee
poured over a boiled lobster claw.
Forget the corn and the coleslaw!

Give me butter, eggs and meat.
With a cup of veg my meal is complete.
Forget those sugar-laden things.
High fat and protein will give me wings.

I spent too much time fat and tired,
but this internet forum has me inspired.
Low-carb is my path to success
to rid myself of all this excess.

I like the low carb life instead
Of macaroni & cheese and that high carb bread
give me butter and give me cream
One day I'll reach that ONEderful dream

I'll be happy and heathy
fit as a fiddle
I'll no longer carry
that tire around the middle...

Sorry I sat for a while and tried to come up with something but nothing well if i make a poem will come back and type it in enjoying reading everyones though.Greedyvw a great thread to start lets hope more poems come pouring in.

I was fat
now I am thin
this low carb diet
has made me trim
I used to be tired
no energy at all
now im set again
Im not going to fall!

my friends keep asking me about my diet
i keep telling them "it rocks and they should try it"
my friends keep telling me how good i look
i keep telling them "here read this book"
my friends asking me how i lost all that weight
i keep telling them "go to right now, its not to late
to change your habits and way of life"
Now they are the ones searcing for a wife...


i always go back and read the things i come up with and laugh. i am such a horrible writer lol

Omg...I used to write poetry all the time! Why am I drawing a blank? True..even though they were always about a love of mine, or a love that's failed, lol isn't it all the same? A love of good food...diets that failed? I'll figure it out lol..what a cute fun post..great idea!

since i started eating meat
i feel much lighter on my feet

since i started eating veggies
my pants no longer give me wedgies

since i started guzzling water
in the mirror i look much hotter....
