  • Question on Food Sweetners..

I like eggs, but I can only eat them with ketch up I will be making my own soon w/out sugar but I am wondering if this one made by Heinz advertised as sugarless is good for now?

    Ingredients :
    Total carbs 1g
    Sugars 1g

Tomato concentrate from red ripe tomatoes, distilled water, vinegar, salt, natural flavoring, onion powder, Sucralose, spice.

Then we have the Jell-O sugarless box which you make yourself, of course I don't add any sugar but I wonder if the sweeteners it has are bad for induction and the menu overall

    Ingredients :

    Carbs 0%
    Sugars 0%

    Gelatin,adipic acid, disodium phosphate, maltodextrin,fumaric acid,Aspartame, Acesulfame potassium, salt , red 40

    Thank you

Aspartame is not allowed on Atkins, so the Jello isn't allowed. You can make your own with unsweetened gelatin, then sweeten it with Splenda. The ketchup, however, is okay (since sucralose is the same thing as Splenda), so long as you don't go over your 3 serving daily limit. Best of luck!

There are lots of recipes using gelatine here. Just use splenda instead of any sugar suggested.
