It looks to be thickened water judging by the ingredients. No I have not tried it. Zero calorie products freak me out a bit

Ingredients: Triple Filtered purified water, cellulose gum, salt, corn starch, xanthan gum, natural fresh roasted peanut flavouring, natural peanut extract, peanut flour, caramel colour, lactic acid, propolyene glycolalginate, sucralose.

Smucker's Natural is great. It has carbs, but just from the peanuts. No added sugar or HFCS.

          Re: walden farms peanut butter

If you are on the 14 Day Induction as your profile states, then peanut butter isn't allowed at all no matter how many carbs aren't in it. Peanut Butter is allowed during OWL Phase.

Ingredients: Triple Filtered purified water, cellulose gum, salt, corn starch, xanthan gum, natural fresh roasted peanut flavouring, natural peanut extract, peanut flour, caramel colour, lactic acid, propolyene glycolalginate, sucralose.
the corn starch in it makes it off limits until the Grains Rung of OWL. Based on the ingredients, this stuff is a peanut flavored corn starch gel. When you get to OWL, you would be much better off eating real peanut butter---the kind whose ingredient list contains only peanuts and maybe salt.

I keep wondering what I'll ever use PB for? I've always had it in cookies/baking, on toast and over ice-cream...I do want to use it in some Thai stir-frys, but that's all I've come up with so far.

Oh dear, peanut butter that actually tastes like peanuts...what is this world coming to?

Julie, I use it in marinades or to thicken up sauces for SouthEast Asian type dishes.
