Yaz (birthcontrol) and TOM question...

  • Yaz (birthcontrol) and TOM question...

    I was looking over my progress for the month of June... I started Atkins 100% committed on June 18th @ 370.6....

    As for the b/c the first day I took the last actual medicated pill ~Thursday
    white pill (dud, no med in it, just reminds you to take) ~Friday -1.6
    white pill ~ Saturday -3
    white pill ~ Sunday -2.4
    white pill ~ Monday - .8
    Tuesday I started TOM and I started a new pack of b/c ... on Tuesday I was 361.8..... now here are the weights after that....
    Wednesday ~ 361.4
    Thursday ~ 361.4
    Friday ~ 360.6
    Saturday ~ 360.6
    Sunday ~ 361.6 ( went to BBQ and had some beef sausage, must contained fillers )
    Monday~ 362.6 (Did first day of workout on Sunday 30 min on bike and Power 90 circuit training)
    Tuesday~ 362.8

    So I'm not sure what to think... I am very overweight and I don't think I really have a metabolic problem. I'm not looking to loose 10 pounds a week, but I do believe 3-5 should be the norm at this weight, ect...

    TOM is almost finished... and I'm not sure what to think. Could it be the birthcontrol? Is it just my body adjusting?

    Typical menu:
    breakfast: 3 eggs, 1oz cheese
    lunch: chicken leg and thigh with skin or 1 can of tuna w/ 1TBSP Mayo, 2 cups of salad either greens or greens, tomato, and cucumber, or just tomato and cucumber
    Dinner: ground meat, 1 cup of other veggies, squash, cauliflower, 2oz of cheese

    Snack: Usually don't have, but if do then some cream cheese...also some days will have 1/2 lemon and 1 packet of splenda and mix and drink.

    I'm 5'9" and 28, almost 29 years old... body is firm, but fat, there is alot of muscle in my legs, ect...

    It is okay if it takes me a little longer to get there, besides this is where I'm going to stay forever and that is a really long time!!!

    Restart on 2/4/10 @ 337.8 lbs

    OWL 1: (2/12-2/25)~ 5 carbs of veggies (done)
    OWL 2: (2/26-3/11)~ 5 carbs of dairy (done)
    OWL 3: (3/12-3/25)
    OWL 4: (3/26- til @ 185)

    your menu sounds good remember to mesure the amount of squash you eat cause it does have higher carbs than say broccoli

    and drugs can do wierd things makeing it harder to lose weight sometimes

    but i think its just water weight your prob doing fine you can read this link it says more about water weight

      I don't even weigh myself during TOM. You might be surprised at how you will suddenly drop again when it is over.

      Sorry, I don't really know anything about BC and how that might effect you.

        Weight does fluctuate up and down during TOM wait a few day and re- weigh yourself.
