  • Weight loss areas???

Strange question. I have been on the program for 6 weeks and happy with the results. One thing I have noticed is the weight loss seems to be in certain areas ie across my shoulders and legs. Great but seem to be slow on losing inches off arms and belly. Is this common?

Not sure how common it is but it happens to me too. I have lost most of my inches off my waist. Not complaining but that is the last place I really need to lose inches from. My hips/thighs on the other hand...I would love to lose the inches there but it is happening really slowly.

Generally fat is lost in the order it goes on... When we start to gain weight, the body puts that weight in an area that won't effect vital organs (i.e. hips) as we become more and more obese the fat goes in areas that are more dangerous... those are the areas that we lose first... mainly because those fat cells aren't as old as the others, and secondly because the body looks out for its' own survival above all else...

Well that explains why my boobs are disapearing John...John Santos...another boobie thread...come on in!

I do find I am losing faster from some places than others...which is a bit wierd/unexpected because I've always been pretty "even". I figure most of it will go in good time though
